BestCapture terms.

Last updated 12 August 2026. These terms govern the BestCapture macOS app, website and optional cloud service operated by Alcanca. They are a product-policy baseline and do not remove mandatory rights available under applicable consumer law.

Account and product access

An Alcanca account may be shared across Alcanca products. A standalone BestCapture subscription activates only BestCapture, and a standalone iPhoneMirrorSolution licence activates only iPhoneMirrorSolution. Alcanca Suite grants access to both products while the bundle entitlement remains active. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account and devices secure.

Subscriptions

The annual plan costs €84 per year, displayed as the equivalent of €7 per month when billed annually. The monthly plan costs €9.99 per month. These prices exclude VAT. Stripe Tax calculates applicable VAT from the billing details you provide and Checkout shows the final total before purchase. Alcanca's accountant remains responsible for registrations and filings. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel the BestCapture subscription through its dedicated Stripe Customer Portal flow; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Licence

While your entitlement is active, Alcanca grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use BestCapture on the allowed number of devices. You may not resell, sublicense, bypass entitlement checks, distribute modified binaries or use the service to violate another person's rights.

Your captures

You retain rights in content you create or upload. You grant Alcanca only the limited permission required to store, process, display and transmit cloud captures and viewer replies at your direction. Do not upload unlawful content or data you are not authorised to process. Anyone holding an active private link may view the capture and, when enabled, leave comments, reactions or a bounded private video reply. A person recording a reply is responsible for having permission to record the people, image and audio it contains. Share links only with intended viewers and do not submit abusive, unlawful or rights-infringing feedback. If you add a call-to-action, you are responsible for its label and destination and must not use it for deception, unsafe content or rights infringement.

Cloud availability

Cloud storage is an online feature and can experience maintenance, capacity and network interruptions. Keep local copies of important material. After subscription termination, cloud access may be restricted; you should export or delete captures before access ends.

Updates and changes

BestCapture may evolve, and features may be improved, replaced or removed where reasonably necessary. Price changes apply prospectively and will be communicated before the next affected renewal where required.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided with reasonable care, but no software can be guaranteed error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Alcanca is not liable for indirect loss, lost profits or loss caused by failing to keep backups. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
